LSESU Returning Officer has today announced that the upcoming vote on Israel Palestine will be voted on at UGM and NOT online.
The ever declining C&S committee decided that they did not want to allow the motion to go to UGM but to an online vote. It is rumoured that members of C&S made the decision to assist the Palestinian society.
Senior SU officials were concerned that this would undermine the sovereignty of the UGM, just weeks after C&S tried to annul an important UGM vote. There was further worry that by voting online debate would be lost.
