The Debating Society has sent out an e-mail to all its members encouraging them to come to Thursday's UGM. The reason for doing so is to vote down the Returning Officer's motion to prevent societies from endorsing candidates electronically.
It is beleived that other societies will turn up to combat this motion, particularly the Islamic, Palestinian, and Green Party.
